Now, what do you think of the future of the Mid-east? You are certainly way more informed then most, so I would be interested in your opinion. I could venture guesses, but to be honest I can't see where this will end. A wider Mid-east war with Israel would seem to be the logical conclusion, sad as that maybe. Is the Caliphate a possibility? Or at least an attempt to create it a possibility? And would that ultimately mean an overthrow of the House of Saud?

To me it is clear Obama will do all he can to keep the US out of this. One of the few things I agree with him on. Only part of that equation that upsets me is the isolation and apparent abandonment of Israel. I think it sends the wrong message, and likely will mean a war against Israel by the Muslims. And frankly, the Jews will not lose. So it would end badly for all those that attack Israel.
