 Don't worry about us; we're over a thousand miles away.....have a couple of distant relatives living there but they're fine. There's a fair bit of infrastructure damage down there, and quite a lot of houses have irreparable cracks, but all in all it could have been a lot worse. I can say that, sitting here in the comfort of my chair :) I don't have to live in a shelter cos the sewage lines got smashed and flooded the street, like what happened in one locale. Eeech.... Anyways, I have been puttering along on the models. The Phantom has been sucking up most of the time with cleaning up parts and filling and sanding when they're put together. Tedious and not photo-worthy. I started on a Airfix 1/72 Fiesler Storch as light relief, but frankly it's a really old kit and it's not great. I've managed to make a bit of a mess of the canopy, but stuff it.....I'm going to finish and it won't be a total loss. Will get some photos up in due course. The main reason I've been absent a while from this thread is that this is the time of year that our oldest boy, who is quite a good rugby player, becomes stuck with both school 1st XV rugby AND provincial age grade representative rugby at the same time, plus an end of school season tourney....so he's been flat out and we've been spending lots of time carting him to trainings and games. School rugby now finished....just the representative stuff to go. | ||
